We organise “Diversity Picnic” as a part of Polish Heritage Day in UK.
We aim to bring together children, families and people over 50s in events that will celebrate diversity, tolerance, respect and collaboration.
This year’s the event will involve:
• “Creating art” by Emily Cooling – unique environment where adults, children and everybody in between can learn new way to express themselves and experiment with arts and crafts technique, https://www.creatingart.co.uk/
• poetic literary workshops with elements on how to create your own book –
Mr. Marek Kazmierski – (He currently lives in Poland, although I grew up and have lived in the UK for the past 30 years, where he gained degrees in English Literature, Comparative Religion and Adult Literacy. His professional experience involves management of numerous private, public and non-profit workplaces, most recently as Head of Diversity at HMP Feltham and Managing Editor of Not Shut Up, a quarterly magazine representing “unfree art” in the UK and abroad.) https://www.mjkazmierski.com/
• LOGOFIGLE – funny games that support speech development
Speech therapy exercises in the form of funny games to help in the improvement of articulatory aparatus, developing speech and pronunciation – in Polish and English. The workshops are intended for pre-school and school children by PUNO
